Long Description: |
More than 40 of the McKinna 57's
have been delivered since the
boat was first introduced in
1997. The success of the McKinna
57 Pilothouse is due in large
part to its broad appeal. The
deck design is quite versatile
and can be configured to most any
need. What's more, although the
list of standard features is
impressive, the options are
numerous as well. The standard 57
Pilothouse is nicely equipped.
Owners may choose from several
two or three cabin layouts. All
offer gracious and spacious
accommodations for you and your
guests. The main deck can be
configured either galley-up, with
the galley on the pilothouse
level, or galley-down with the
galley on the salon level. There
are also a number of flybridge
and cockpit possibilities.
As with all McKinna Yachts, the
furnishings and finishing's are
yours to select throughout.
Rich woods such as teak, oak,
maple, or cherry are available
and are complimented by an
exquisite array of fabrics and
leathers.
The 57 Pilothouse has all the
comforts of home. A full
complement of galley appliances
is standard. To power everything,
both a 21.5 KW generator and 2500
watt DC/AC inverter are standard.

Accommodations
This 57' McKinna features a two
stateroom layout. The SALON is
entered through double sliding-
glass doors from the cockpit, all
on the same level. The interior
is bright and open, and the hand-
selected maple woodwork is
finished in high-gloss varnish.
The L-shaped settee to starboard
has a hi-lo table with fold-out
leaves; a straight settee is to
opposite. Both have soft, glove-
leather upholstery in a cream
color, and are like new. There is
recessed halogen lighting
throughout and 2" wood blinds.
The MASTER STATEROOM features a
queen island berth, and ample
storage in drawers and cedar
lined hanging closets. A triple-
sliding sohji-screen separates
the MASTER HEAD, which has marble
counters and flooring,
mirrors,and beautiful "Newport
Brass" fixtures. This unique
design makes the head and
stateroom both seem even more
spacious. (Both toilets aboard
are ceramic bowl, "quiet flush"
heads). There is an intercom, a
Panasonic TV, and a separate Sony
stereo triple CD changer.
Recessed halogen lighting,
indirect rope lights, and reading
lights can set the mood for any
occasion. The master suite also
has separate reverse cycle air
`condition`ing/heating.
The VIP GUEST STATEROOM is
forward, and features a
double/queen berth, separate air
`condition`ing/heating, television,
stereo, intercom, and ample
storage including a bookshelf.
There are indirect lights,
halogen lights, reading lights,
two opening ports and a hatch
overhead.
A cabinet between the guest
stateroom conceals the separate
GE washer and dryer. There is
also a central vacuum cleaning
system plumbed throughout the
vessel. There are a total of 4
separate zones of reverse-cycle
air `condition`ing/heating, and an
intercom phone system throughout.

The PILOTHOUSE has excellent
visibility for all-weather
cruising comfort. The helm seat
and large settee have matching,
glove-leather upholstery. A hi-lo
table allows dining while
enjoying the view. Flooring under
the raised dinette is maple and
oak. High end/ship-style
stainless frame "pantogragh swing-
away door" provides access to the
foredeck. It is far more
watertight than typical sliding
doors, which leak water in rough
seas. Simrad CE-40 Color
